Role: Virtualization Host, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Media Server. OS: Debian 13 (Trixie) or similar stable Linux distribution. IP: <HYPERVISOR_IP>

Hardware Profile​

  • Type: Workstation / Server Class Hardware.
  • Storage: Large capacity RAID array mounted at /mnt/storage (or /stor).

Core Services​

  • Cockpit: Web-based management interface (Port 9090).
  • KVM/Libvirt: Hypervisor managing the virtual machines.
  • Jellyfin: Media Server (Port 8096), with direct access to the storage array.
  • Podman: Container engine for auxiliary services:
    • Vaultwarden: Password Manager (Port 8084).
    • NocoDB: Database tool (Port 8080).
    • Syncthing: File synchronization.

Maintenance​

  • System Updates: Standard apt update && apt upgrade.
  • Storage Health: Regularly check RAID status and disk health via Cockpit or CLI tools.
